Every entry at a competition shall constitute an agreement & affirmation that all participants (owner, leasee, trainer, manager, rider, coach & their principles): 1) shall be subject to the Constitution and Rules of the Association and the local rules of the competition; 2) every horse, rider and owner is eligible as entered; 3) agree to be bound by the Rules of the Competition and will accept as final the decision of the Horse Show; 4) agree that they participate voluntarily in the competition fully aware that the horse sport and the competition involve inherent dangerous risk of serious injury or death, and by participating they expressly assume any and all risk of injury or loss and agree to indemnify and hold the competition and their officials, directors, employees and agents harmless from and against claims including for any injury or loss suffered during or in connection with competition, whether or not such claim, injury or loss resulted, directly or indirectly, from the negligent acts or omissions of said office directors, employees or competition.
Under Georgia Law, an equine sponsor or equine professional is not liable for any injury to or the death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risk of equine activities pursuant to
Chapter 12 Title 4 of the official code of Georgia annotated.
